Instructions for use
The working principle of Feeder mainly involves the identification
and positioning of components, component picking and mounting
process. Although different types of feeders are different in
structure, their working principle is basically the same. Here are
the steps:
1. Component identification and positioning: The feeder Fida
recognizes the type, size and pin direction of the component
through the internal sensor or camera, and transmits this
information to the control system of the chip mounter. The control
system calculates the precise position of the component according
to this information, and directs the sticker head to pick up.
2. Component pickup: The chip head is moved to the designated
position of the feeder according to the instructions of the control
system, and the components are picked up by vacuum adsorption or
mechanical clamping. For example, in the Yamaha chip mounter Feida,
the robotic arm picks up components through a vacuum nozzle, with
different sizes of components using different sizes of mouthpieces
to ensure accurate pickup.
3. Mounting process: After picking up the components, the mounting
head places the components precisely on the specified position of
the PCB board. This process requires a high degree of precision and
speed to ensure the quality and efficiency of the patch.
Application/field of application
The types of chip feeder include but are not limited to belt
feeder, disc feeder, tube feeder and bulk feeder. Each type of
feeder is suitable for electronic components with different package
types, sizes and mounting requirements. For example, the belt
feeder is suitable for braid packaged components, such as
resistors, capacitors, etc.; Disk feeder is mainly used for feeding
chip components; Tubular feeder is suitable for specially packaged
components; Bulk feeders are used for components of irregular shape
or large size.
